Phoebe (age 3) asks Mommy how do we tell if there's a fire out the front door.

Me-- You can feel the door to see if it's hot.

Zach (age 5) Or you could just look out this window here by the door.

As Ryan was leaving for work the other day, Tanner pointed to Ryan's name badge and said: That says Daddy Dalton.
 
Phoebe when she was two
"I'm a PEENcess". "I'm peety."
"I want to ride my hosey."
"I want to trail ride by my SELF!"
"'Siah is my baby." (Josiah her little brother)
"My birthday's coming soon." (She began saying this at the beginning of May)
"I wanna go with Daddy."
"I wanna hold one of those things" (Baby chicks)
"I want a baby for my birthday" (Referring to a doll)
 
Phoebe says.... on her third birthday
Mommy; Phoebe do you love God?
Phoebe: No.

Mommy: Phoebe do you know God?
Phoebe: Yes.

Mommy: Who is God?
Phoebe: I am.

Phoebe says, "Everybody likes Phoebe."

4 year old Zachisms
"Mommy I hope you have two babies." Why? "Because you have two of those nurser things"

On a Monday evening-- "Daddy!!" Crying "Daddy, Joshua said it's Wednesday and but it's not it's nightime!"

About our friend Courntney who was watching her 5 year old neighbor while we were visiting--"Mommy I hope Courtney gives that boy back." Why? "Because he belongs to someone else."

Mommy, I had a dream. A new kind of dream. A bad dream. The floors were sinking. Papa was in it too. He was in that room breaking the floor to put rocks in to stop it.
